Pip Coders Welcomes New Editorial Director

Martha Thomas

We are pleased to announce that Martha Thomas has joined the team as its new Editorial Director. Thomas, who has a solid background in journalism, editorial and content creation, will oversee content development from the initial website architecture to the finishing touches.

“Building on our success with recent projects, we’ve decided to expand our content division,” said Digital Director Stephen Gardner, who founded Pip Coders in 2016. “Martha brings an excellent track record in high quality writing and editing.” Pip Coders, which specializes in UX design, Drupal, e-commerce and custom web development, has long been known for its clean, well-structured and easy-to-use websites. The addition of the editorial director position means the company can offer high quality content as well.

Gardner points to the changing landscape of website design. “When everyone has a presence on the web, you need a site that will make your organization or brand stand out,” he says. “Engaging your audience with a strong story will accomplish that goal.”

To Pip Coders, story can mean anything from the way pages are ordered on a website, drawing the browser to the information they need, to the back story of your enterprise. Thomas will help each client ensure that their website tells that story. She is also available for ongoing support, such as writing and editing fresh content.

“When people visit your website, we want to make sure they can easily explore what you have to offer,” says Gardner. “Scintillating content will engage visitors so they find what they are looking for.”
